What you'll learn

This interactive masterclass will allow both complete beginners and experienced barflies to replicate advanced techniques used in the preparation of world-class cocktails from the comforts of home, using readily available and easy-to-use items.

Participants will learn how to infuse gin with exciting new flavours using the culinary principle of sous-vide; they will also be guided through an engaging history of gin’s meteoric rise, while learning how to properly assess, taste and differentiate its varied flavour-profiles. The class will conclude by using the sous-vide infused spirit to create a refined and delicious twist on the classic Albermarle Fizz, and will learn pro-tips on dilution, measuring ratios and ice preparation – essential factors that make or break drinks! Although participation is highly encouraged it is not mandatory, as the skills and techniques taught can be applied to all manner of spirits and cocktails, and will be sure to elevate your fundamental understanding of how to make drinks taste great.
